| Both teams advance! |

Congrats to both teams on the weekend as they both won and progress to the preliminary final. The ressies won 1-0 against Tugun, despite being under the pump for most of the second half following a penalty from Hal in the first half. They now play Merrimac next saturday at Merrimac at 1pm. The first div won 3-1 against Mudgereeba despite going down 1-0 after an own goal. We replied with goals from Chris, Louis and Andy to make it a comfortable victory, which should have been by a much larger margin. Next week they take on Merrimac at Merrimac at 3pm.
Special mention to the people that showed up to support us, you were great value and hope to see everyone there this weekend at Merrimac. |

| Good weekend |

What a good weekend!!! The party cruise was very good and it was good to see that alot of players and friends showed up. It was alot of fun and some people had a really good night. Congrats to Robs who somehow woke up in Byron Bay. Great effort that, doesnt even know he got there. Then managed to play two games the day after.
What made the cruise even better was that we backed up and won ressies 5-2 and firsts won 5-0 over Robina. It was even sweeter because they wouldnt change the game for us. |

| Division 2: Palm Beach VS Griffith University |
| Written by Chris De Sousa on Friday 02. April, 2010 |

After having drawn their first match at home, the Griffith boys were looking to go the next step further and add three points to their league tally with their first away fixture at Palm Beach. It certainly looked as though this would be the case in the first half of the match as Jongwook Hur and Andy Cumming blazed down the wings and the Griffith passing game tore through a dazed Palm Beach defense, and when captain Kevin Nosten struck the back of the net for the second time in as many matches all signs seemed pointing to a victory. It took the home side twenty minutes to sneak in an equalizer, but only a couple of minutes and a little piece of magic by Hur to put the visitors back in the lead with a volley rocketing to the top corner of the far side of the net.
The second half of the match saw a relaxed Griffith outfit making simple errors all over the pitch and despite a few good saves by Duncan in goals, three mildly threatening attacks made their way through to punish the away side with a treble of unanswered goals; leaving everyone stunned as Palm Beach stole the all three points on the night.
4 - 2
K. Nosten 14
J. Hur 35
Best: S. Bahrawy, A. Cumming, J. Hur |

| Another successful weekend |

Another successful weekend for the first and reserves this weekend as they both won comfortably against Burleigh heads. The ressies set the tone for the arvo with a 5-1 win while the first team also won well with a 3-1 win.
However the sunday team didnt go so well and they lost to nerang.
The girls teams play tonight with the prems taking on Nerang @ nerang while the 2nd team is at home to murwillumbah. Both games kick off at 730 and everyone should try and go along and support them. |
